Floquil thinner (way-back machine...)
I use 1 part paint 1 part gloss and one part xylene, mixed in the color cup @ 10-12lbs, no problems. Jeff Coleman won't weathering. than Glosscoat way. always spraying model.

tank car "vents"
Ed you are correct in the fact that most of the els on tank car expansion domes were street ells but these were not used with the heater coils. The safety vent or valve was screwed into the female end
