Also note, the NP cars I listed were first builds, not rebuilds. There was one additional "mongrel" group of leased NP boxcars, series 37000-37899, that were ca. 1962 rebuilds of various early AARoid

Stainless wire for STMFC safety appliances...
Steve: Stainless works great. I like brass if I am locating and drilling my own mounting holes and bound to get a few off the mark a bit, as it's easier to bend the grabs (in two or three dimensions)
