0.6mm plywood
As this stuff is used on gliders (sail planes) does anyone make gliders in the US? That might be a avenue to search. Some of the laser cutting people making kits use thin multi-layer plywood.

[Non-DoD Source] Re: [RealSTMFC] OMI 1930-built double dome tank car
Old mind, but now seem to remember that a picture is in one of the CBCs. Mine are all at the other house so I can't look it up. A question, as I said in an additional post mine has .066 wheels sets. D

PM Box loading with ground corn cobs.
I also remember that in the late 40s my relatives in SD used corn cobs for fuel in the kitchen stove. Don't know if they were delivered or collected from the farm.

Need for a reefer? I would assume the ATSF reefer was captured for some reason.

Tom, That's a good idea. Haven't thought about ice service. Will try and keep that in mind (what's left of it)!

The ends of the flats are interesting. Don't think I have ever seen that before. Also for scenery the old track on the left of the photo is really a neat idea.

What's really strange is that MEK is not as bad as any of these replacement chemicals but it's the one we can't easily get. Stupid if you ask me but them no one did.:-D

I've never had any luck using MEK to join Plexiglas. I use a acrylics cement from TAP plastic. The can says Dichloromethane contains; Methylene chloride Trichloroethylene Methyl Methacrylate Monomer A
