Fw: [RealSTMFC] coil gondola shipping early problems
These WP cars were re-fitted twice. Early in the 1970s also. I had a difficult time finding pictures of the interior when I made my 1st kitbash WP 20' Coil Gondola and I had to guess the rivet pattern

B&O Sentinel 40' box at Taylor Yard, LA CA 1958
Even with its very low mounted bottom door track the Yougstown door still is a 5/6/5-Short. Along with the ends, the color scheme makes for an interesting, well-travelled Eastern box car. -Andy Carlso

A rather simple kit bash from a P2K 52" Greenville gondola. Made in 1953 and came new with roller bearing trucks. Like others mentioned, since this was in direct service on the WP (straying off the WP

correcting my mistake D&LW 55161 riveted 12-panel box car
Boy, this is embarrassing! I quickly responded to the D&LW car question and made my reply directed instead at the EJ&E car (which is a 10'0" car) by error. The Lackawanna car is certainly a 10'6" car.

EJ&E 61216 12-panel riveted 40' box car
Steve, what a cleaver idea to easily combat the visual geometry problems of an 8' door on a 6' door car body. Makes me think "Why didn't I think of that"! -Andy Carlson Ojai CA Since you brought it up

TIDX 1648 GATC tank car
With a reweigh of 5-59 this barely fits in our era of preference. My notes has this as a Tidewater tank car, if so I suppose it would be a west coast Associated Oil Co. Flying A portion of the merger.
