Funaro Northern Pacific truss rod boxcar kit 1007.
Would this be one in this photo? Might be the car Yarmouth did. https://donstrack.smugmug.com/UtahRails/Emil-Albrecht-Photos/1948-Sep-Montpelier/i-cfzzBWG/A Scott McDonald

Shipping Mustard seeds from Canada.
Since Canada is a large producer of Mustard seeds I was wondering how they where shipped in the 40's and 50's. Did they need temperature protection so the seeds shipped in a reefer or bags and barrels

Did the Southern cars make it to 1950? I am always on the look out for truss rod cars still in use then. Thanks Scott McDonald

Any guesses on the roof? Murphy flat or raised panel or something totally different? Looks like the seam caps are wrapping around the side edge of the roof. Scott McDonald

New paint bottles
You can buy empty Tamiya glass bottles off ebay. Not sure that they would fit your Binks or not though.

Somewhat off topic - GE 44-tonner phases
An early model 80 tonner with long frame would be awesome but since the railroads didn't really use them I doubt it would happen. Plus the 80 tonners have slightly longer truck wheel base and I believ

Should we be mfgr bashing?
I liked doing Branchline Kits but a person only needs so many plain jane boxcars. Heavyweight passenger cars are a real niche market. Scott McDonald

Assembling a Freight Train
There was a quick glimpse of a freshly painted SFRD reefer which showed the newer red-orange color and a B & O wagon top that is almost black with a new paint out for reweigh. Of course some nice cent

These photos where posted in a group on Facebook today. They are interesting cars. Looks like they have ACF ends on them? 50ft with door and a half certainly have there own look to them. Scott McDonal

Union Pacific wreck clean up video
This movie popped up on YouTube and has some great roof shots at the wreck site. There is some nice color footage of the cars as well. Also some early 60s? footage of 844 excursion and putting 4004 in
