The only significant visual difference is in the side sills at the car ends. On the DL&W hopper they are straight; on the IC (RCW) hopper they angle up. Tom Madden

Thanks for the responses and the graphic material. The main difference that I can see is that the Lackawanna hoppers were 12 inches longer on the inside and the side sills were thicker too. Otherwise
