According to _WM Cabooses_ by Dwight Jones (WMRHS, 1991) _the new steel
cabooses built in 1936 were among the first pieces of WM rolling stock to be
lettered with the new emblem_ The built date for 1801, the first car in the
series was 10-27-36.
