Richard,
It appears as if the two SP box cars to the extreme right (above the USRA
gon) have smaller medallions. This would indicate that they are B-50-16s.

gondola and, directly above the lamp post, a 36' Delaware & Hudson wood box
car. Plus, of course, a whole bunch of SP B-50-15s. A photo that's full
of good stuff!

I finally got there. Nice ATSF auto box (Fe-Q maybe) in the backgroundJon, these photos are in the UC Berkeley library. You could contact them
also. Picture has note of #67 and that is the picture number. Would sure
like to have these pictures in 8x10 glossy. So much information there
especially for my time period. I don't think a lot changed between then and
'41.

Jon,
Try this URL: http://www.oac.cdlib.org:80/dynaweb/ead/calher/strike/ .
Then click on container list on the menu at left. When the new window
opens at right, scroll down to #67. Finally, click on medium or high
resolution, your choice.
While you are at it, take a look at the other pictures here. Lots of
great detail--clothing, vehicles, signs, architecture, etc., and many
have freight cars or locomotives.
Kind regards,
Garth G. Groff

Sorry Tony,You are right, Jon. That's a carriage return put in by my e-mail program.
Yours also has a carriage return. I tried retyping the entire line but
it won't go there. Doing a search for that jpg after I get to the strike
page get nothing.Jon Miller
Here's what I did: cut and paste the intact line, then add the final part
by typing, then carriage return in your browser to request the location.
