Air dump cars

Does the old MEW (Model Engineering Works) air dump car have any
resemblance to the Santa Fe Ga36-38 class air dumps. It seems the size is
far apart, around 12 yard to a SF 20 yard car.

the same but too small. At one point, I had thought about trying to splice
the parts from two MEW kits together to get a reasonable facsimile, but I
never followed through on that plan (and splicing zinc alloy castings isn't
a simple matter).
