Nice photos. Thanks for sharing them.

TP&W 5038 appears to be a rare 10' IH PS-1. Note the lower height in
relation to the other PS-1, and the lack of the small top rib on the
ends. Without my lists here at work I can't be sure, but I think the
only (or at least most) cars like this were originally built for the New
Haven. These were later sold off, rebuilt and leased out (IIRC by USRE).
Some ended up on the D&RGW

AFAIK, the only other 10' PS-1s were 50' 1 1/2 door boxcars built for
the Navy. One of these survives at the Western Railroad Museum at Rio
Vista Jct. in California.
