One use that comes to mind is: Converting the Red Caboose PFE Reefer with Factory paint for NP. Jerry Glow did this conversion, and says it is fairly straightforward. The modeler will need to narrow the roof lengthwise about .125". Check, and others, You will need to replace the RC underframe with a 40 ton fishbelly USRA type. Accurail sells their USRA/Canadian 8 panel as a detail part. I also have some Accurail 40' Canadian 8 panel kits, which can supply their underframe, and leaves you with a Hutchins DL roof and a pair of cast steel spring plank trucks for the parts box.
