them for sale at the December Wheaton swap. Try B&G Trains in Elgin, IL, Des
Plaines Hobbies, or Ted Schnepf; I'm sure they all have the ribbed cars in
stock.

sells nicely decorated versions of these Rib Side cars in 4 numbers of Hiawatha and 1 number of Electrified Olympian for $25 each or 3 for $65 through the end of January. Shipping is $8 per order according to his flyer. It may be a way to short circuit the process.
I have no connection, other than as a customer, friend and recipient of his mailings.
