Al's Hobby Shop in Elmhurst, Illinois also had some

The Chicagoland area is lousy with these cars. There
must have been 50 of
them for sale at the December Wheaton swap. Try B&G
Trains in Elgin, IL, Des

have the ribbed cars in
stock.

The latest MR had a review of these cars by
Andy. I have some ordered
through my normal supplier but he is having a hard
time getting them. He
email me that it took the company a couple of months
to reply to his email
about stocking/ordering them. Maybe they will
arrive but distribution is
starting to appear similar to the famous NP resin
stock car.

Jon,

Jim Singer dba

5th Avenue Car Shops
P.O. Box 423
LaGrange, IL 60525

sells nicely decorated versions of these Rib Side cars in 4 numbers of Hiawatha and 1 number of Electrified Olympian for $25 each or 3 for $65 through the end of January. Shipping is $8 per order according to his flyer. It may be a way to short circuit the process.

I have no connection, other than as a customer, friend and recipient of his mailings.

Regards,
Steve Hile
