Which version of this car has now been done in styrene? I have a photo
of MILW 6675 which two 6 foot doors, while MIKW 9440 has a 15 foot door
opening according the ORER.

I looks like there were 500 cars originally in both series.

Bill, according to the information in the kits plus the photos I have:

6500-6599 (100 cars) were built in 1942 with wood running boards and Universal hand brakes.

6600-6899 (300 cars) were built in 1943-44 with Apex steel running boards and Universal hand brakes.

6900-7099 (200 cars) were built in 1944 with Apex steel running boards and Miner hand brakes.

All the above had 12'5" or 12'6"door openings and are the prototype cars the kit represents.

9000-9499 (500 cars) were built in 1947 and had 15' doors and Evans auto racks.
