Athearn Announcemnt

Apparently Athearn has not adjusted to the fact that they offer models in more than one scale (3).
Also, I'm confused at what the "Roundhouse" brand is supposed to be..... shouldn't this car fall
into that brandname by their definition that it is a steam era car??? Even the N Scale cars don't
follow that pattern.....

It is confusing. Some new stuff (the wood milk cars) are "Roundhouse"
and don't show on the Athearn web site. But plenty of older MDC kits
are showing up as Ready-To-Roll Athearn. But others (like the single
sheathed box cars) are still under the Roundhouse brand... Are there
quality differences between R-T-R and Roundhouse? (For example, one
with metal wheels and the other with plastic?)
