I purchased a few Sunshine SFRD USRA Rebuilds at Naperville and have had
a problem with the decals on the first car that I constructed.



When soaking in water they fell to pieces, not able to use on car.



Not sure if this is applicable to all of the 74.n series kits or
isolated to the one I built.



Will investigate ways to save the remaining half of the decals.

Dave,
You can spray a clear lacquer over them or use MicroScale's Super Film
to coat the decals. I have used it to protect old decals that have
started to crack and separate. You can either spray it or brush it.
Either way, it will do the job. In the meantime, drop Martin or Tricia
Lofton a note and explain what happened and request another set for that
Kit series. I am sure if you send them a note, you will get a quick
response due to the nature of the problem.
