A photo with a digital camera should work quite well, if
the page is very flat, and you can mount the camera on a
tripod and get a sharp picture.

I'll have to think about how to do that, the pages are about 14x17, much bigger than
a common scanner, to thick for a drum scanner that I have access to at work.
I could try just a corner.

There are no types, you'll have to have an ORER handy, if you want to help with making a type table, just left me know.
I sure a few people have some railroad's types memorized.

that the final digit of the car number is missing, or ??
