Does anyone know what year Union Pacific shifted from boxcar red to armour yellow in their caboose

"In June 1947, instructions were issued to change UP's cabooses from freight car red....to yellow...."

UP began painting cabooses yellow in July, 1947, and the process continued through the end of 1948. Reference Union Pacific Freight Cars 1936-51 by Terry Metcalfe.
