For new folks or anyone really that may not have noticed, the "Friends of the Freight Car" will have lunch again on Saturday, January 12 in the hotel's restaurant. A great way to meet fellow travelers and those that care about the differences between a "Warren," a "Pratt" and a "Howe" truss. The Prototype Police will be on duty to keep order.

Also Sheriff Brock said that Room Reservations are running ahead of last year so anyone who has not reserved a room may want to "get on the stick."

Good point, Bill. The newest issue of FOTFC shirts, in red, are still available. If you want one, let me know your size and I will bring one to Cocoa. Otherwise, I can take orders at Cocoa and mail you the shirt after I return home.

Wish the hotel had a better menu to include at least vegetarian for some of us vegans. Last year we tried eating in the hotel restaurant but with not much to speak of, we ate out.
