Yarmouth stirrups

The etched portion at the bends is  on the outside of the bend, right?

How are the angled stirrups installed?

Look great so far and a whole lot stronger than expected once installed.

How about hatch stop brackets for SFRD reefers?

Thanks Pierre.

Ed,

Bend towards the fold lines… ie they are on the inside of the bend, not the outside.

Ed,

Photo-etched hatch stops are included in the Yarmouth YMW-215 fret for SFRD reefers.

Thanks. That set must be new.

Original stirrups on those Intermountain reefers are very fragile.

What size drill are you using?

I've been cutting the individual stirrups from the fret (?) with the scissor in my desk.

The holes in the hatch stops are designed for .0125" diameter wire and # 80 drill bits.
The mounting pins of the sill steps comfortably fit into the holes in the InterMountain underframe. If you need to drill your own holes, use a # 78 drill bit for a tight fit. If you find it too tight use a # 77 drill bit.
