MDT reefers

I'm thinking of modeling a few MDT reefers with Despatch ends and am
wondering if anyone ever offered such ends in HO scale. I found what appear to
be a close approximation of 10' 6' Despatch ends in my spare end jar (
Branchline I believe) with 3E on the reverse side. Before I start cutting and
filing I thought I'd ask if anything more accurate was available.
Has anyone ever modeled such ends? If so I'd appreciate hearing how it was

You should drop Stan Rydarowicz a note at 165 Manchester St., Youngstown OH 44509 and see if he has those kits. He lists 4 or 5 MDT kits but I don't know about the car ends you are looking for. His kits are fun to build and produce very nice models. |

Thanks Tim and Fenton, I'll get to Stan ASAP.
Now, since that last question got answered so well I'll ask another which I have
been pondering over for a few months. Has anyone ever modeled a Northwestern
Refrigerator 1955 Renton rebuild? If so, any suggestions? TIA again
