Railway Mechanical Engineer.

Does anybody know if some body has scanned archives of Railway Mechanical Engineer? They are tough to find let alone the week month year you are searching for.

Thanks

This and similar publications are sometimes available in the archives of university libraries, especially if they have engineering departments. I checked the University of Iowa library catalog, and they have volumes 90-123 published between 1916 and 1949.

Scott-

I have downloaded Vols 89 90 91 92 94 96 97  1915-16-17-18-20-22-23 and at the moment I don’t know where they came from.   Seeing that they are whole volumes and came from the Carnegie Library Pittsburgh and don’t have the Google Books mark on them they aren’t from Google, Hathitrust or Linda Hall.

The proper title is Railway Age Gazette Mechanical Edition including the American Engineer, at least for the volumes I have.

All volumes of Railway Locomotives and Cars / American Railroad Journal /
American Engineer etc. (the name changed on a number of occasions) they are
at http://catalog.hathitrust.org/Record/008717775.

Railway Mechanical Engineer (1915-1923) comprise volumes 89-97.

They are also available on microfilm one by UMI in Michigan; the New York Public library has a set

Why not start at Google Books? I see three volumes there already.

Thanks everybody.  California State Railroad Museum helped me out on the article I was looking for.
