Gents,

I picked up an Ultra Scale #601 kit, the FGEX reefer, sans instructions and decals.

I've been looking online, and through Bill Welch's awesome article in the Keystone/B&O/Seaboard/SCL modeler issue, and I think I know but I'm not 100% sure:

Does this kit represent the 1927 FGEX/WFEX car, or the 1947/48 FGEX/WFEX rebuild?

It is the 1927 FGE/WFE car, gorgeous model complete w/center grooved wood sheathing. Look to Protocraft for decals.

Would you, or perhaps someone else, be able to direct me to a photo or diagram of the brake rigging layout? The rest I could probably figure out from materials I have available.
