Lettering removal for Kadee freight car models

Has anyone successfully removed the lettering from a Kadee freight car model without damaging the paint underneath. Just wondering which of the various lettering removal methods is best to use on Kadee's models.

I have not tried to remove any on a Kadee car, but if I were worried I'd mask the area with tape first, then apply a paper towel wet with Solvaset (but not dripping) over the spot and let it sit overnight. Tim O' Has anyone successfully removed the lettering from a Kadee freight car |
