The 2 SOU Seley hoppers behind it are pretty nice, too.

Displaying my ignorance, the apparently SOU hopper to the left has interesting lettering. WT 34000?

Time to curl up on the sofa with an ORER...

Those are conventional wood-frame hoppers, not Seley composite cars. The closely-spaced vertical wood posts and the horizontal truss rod in the side above the "Southern" lettering are typical of late pre-steel hoppers.

The car to the left is one of Southern's handful of 1905 Common Design hoppers (possibly 285027 according to the chalk mark), SOU 285000-285149 (ex CNO&TP 19250-19399) or SOU 321000-321599 (ex AGS 14000-14599).
