A number of paints have been mixed to match CN Red #11 over the years, but be aware that this colour really only works for a freshly-painted car.

I knew there was a number for the color, but as your photo shows, why worry about it. I'll stick with my redder, oranger, browner question ; ))
Not having a photo I do have a couple more questions, The drawing in the instructions does not show any placard boards. Not on the ends nor the steel corrugated door. Should I put some on? Also what trucks should be under the car in the late 40s -50? Just with or without spring planks will suffice.
