Many have found the nozzle does close on some of the super glues as once in a while on the Zap I use. I would like to share a tool I made to clear the nozzle. It is a dental pick with a straightened end. The dental pick came from one of the tool venders at a train show. Works great for me without ruining nozzle.

Bill is correct, just ask you dentist. I asked my dentist and he gave me a hand full of various picks he no longer used. I was afraid to ask how he managed to break the ends off
of a couple of them.
You can grind the broken tips into specific shapes that meet your needs. While waiting for a crown which my dentist makes "while you wait" I got to see the machine that does this. Looks like "rapid prototyping" to me. I had a lot to think about during the remainder of my visit.

Agreed. I've got more dental picks of more kinds than I can begin to describe.
Also, your doctor can be a source of tools. In some circumstances they just throw away tools rather than go to the cost of sterilizing them. I've gotten hemostats, forceps, and scissors that way. Their quality isn't high but for most procedures they get the job done. I just ask if they're throwing the instruments away. If they are they give them to me. My dermatologist is great for this. I suspect they believe I'm using the hemostats for, um, off-label uses, but they make great clamps. Richard Townsend

Donald yes it can, just my way of doing it as the dental pick is much stiffer than a pin or needle. And, when you have a good number supplied by my dentist ( years back), as Bill mentioned, you look for ways to use them.

You can open the tip with virtually anything with a sharp point – even a dull one. I’ve used the T-pins from Plano Model works etched parts kits and a drill bit with a broken tip.
Besides the tip, one needs to check the sides of the tip for runoff.
