This is a CN 1929 standard boxcar, built as the CN 503500-513152 series between 1929 and 1931 (this particular example was built in April 1930, which narrows the source car series somewhat to 505851-510352).

A large number of these cars were renumbered to 426000-429999 circa 1970, and this particular car would be placed on narrow gauge trucks and renumbered 4726 for service in Newfoundland in March 1975.
