Does anyone make HO scale decals for a CRI&P single-sheathed boxcar with three panels on each side of the door? Richard Townsend

I presume that you mean the 1930 vintage cars like
Freight Cars—Wooden - Lake States Railway Historical Association (lakestatesarchive.org)
Sunshine made kits for some of these, and so there must have been decals, but other than that, I don’t recall any decals specifically for these cars. It is a pretty simple scheme and could, perhaps, be cobbled from Champ road name sets. Perhaps Ron Von Werder from Rocket Express would sell you some of his for the auto cars of similar vintage.

Check your web site. Maskislanddecals.com. I offer many Rock Island decals. I am not sure what paint scheme but I have the largest selection of Rock Island decals.

Rocket Express has expressed some interest in doing cars like this second example, these were also later versions of the B2 cars.

Thanks to all who replied. It's for a 133000-series car, like this one:

Mask Island was the first place I went to when I got this idea. Unfortunately, no joy. There were 1,000 cars in this series so there's a sufficient number for them to not be too obscure. Any interest in adding this to the Mask Island line?
The Westerfield decals look like they could work, at least the road name and the reporting marks. I don't know if they include the proper digits for the car number 133XXX. I doubt they do. Those double threes look to be a problem. This is a fun little kitbash I am working on and rather not have to invest in multiple decal sets just to get the needed digits. Richard Townsend

Some differences in layout and content. True, the Westerfield ones might be adaptable to the 1930’s vintage cars. Jack Mullen |

The decals in Westerfield kit #6401 *do* include digits for car numbers in the 133XXX series: in fact, number 133804 is included right like that.

I suspect that means as soon as I finish my kitbash, Westerfield will bring out a kit for the car. Richard Townsend

Rocket Express is already in the process of bringing out that kit.

As I recall, Al Westerfield, at one time, intended to extend the Rock Island cars to include both the Murphy ended and the Dreadnaught ended cars in the lineup. They are discussed in the documentation, but he never got around to doing them.
Rocket Express has also expressed interest, so they might be the one to two the kit or kits.
As a point of interest: The 133xxx series was divided between two builders, ACF and Bettendorf and there was a small difference in the way that the roofs met the ends. I think that I posted a comparison years ago and it is attached here, in case.
