Six or eight cars were re-iced as I remember. Watching the procedure is fellow Airman Davy England while I was taking the photo.” Bob Chaparro Moderator Railway Bull Shippers Group |

Funaro & Camerlengo make a series of Canadian National 8-hatch reefers (nos 5130 ff.)
True-Line made a series of 8-hatch reefers in CN, CP, BCR & PGE paint schemes.
I believe Ambroid or Northeastern made such a kit.

I think two years ago, Athearn came out with a 50' ice bunker reefer. One of the road names was Fruit Growers Express overhead reefers (FOBX). Unfortunately, the model was done with only four hatches instead of eight. I haven't tried modifying them yet to add the other hatches. I don't remember if any of the other road names they did were supposed to overhead bunkers or not.

The Athearn model is strictly a Santa Fe (SFRD) prototype. FOBX may be the best reporting mark for a foobie yet ! :-) Ten hatches on this one.
