CPR Wood Boxcar

Here is a late 60s catalog page with the kit. It is George Taylor B-201 with AB brakes - car number 178588.

Probably a Silver Streak wood craftsman kit. Silver Streak was a competitor of Ambroid but given
the number of oversize details I think it's more likely to be Silver Streak. Very nicely built, however.

I found this boxcar at my local hobby shop, and was wondering if anyone could provide identification. To my knowledge, it appears to be a CPR Fowler, and it's wood based. The only identifying marks are a kadee underframe. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Canadian Express Line online hobby shop still has a TH&B kit for sale. Originally there were gondolas, boxcars and a horse car in the series.

These photos are from one I have unbuilt. I think I bought it about 5 years ago. He was still making some kits then. IIRC the kits date back to late 60s.

Look again at the photo.  This is clearly a traditional wood craftsman kit, with thick grabs, stamped ladder stock, and printed lettering on the sides.  It's actually a rather nice build aside from the misaligned door.
