The new date is 10/40on the car. What was the date of the Life magazine it appeared in? Magazines at that time didn't use photoes taken after the publication date😁 |

The LIFE collection is in Google -- https://www.google.com/search?q=1940+source:life&tbm=isch I think many or even most of the photos were never published but they were in some archive and someone scanned and posted them.
