Replacement Steps for Intermountain R-40-23 cars

Recently Tony and I have discussed replacement Stirrup steps for the Intermountain R-40-23 cars. Attached is a photo of a sprue with one of the steps still attached. The sprues will have six steps attached. I am having these castings re-cast. Anyone who would like to get in on the order reply offline to me, koehlers at earthlink.net. The sprues will cost $7.00 each plus postage. The deadline to order will be September 12th.

Unfortunately, minimum order from Yarmouth Model Works is $40.00 plus $12.00 shipping and handling.

Well, in truth , I could sell you one part for $4.00, but would still have to charge $12.00 shipping.
USPS and US customs are enforcing rules about any mail that is not "letter" mail. To the extent that mail is being scanned to confirm that the contents are only paper.
Any metal, it gets sent back.
So now everything goes in a box, with a Declaration form.
Do wish it were otherwise
