What’s the difference between the Intermountain and Kadee PS-1 besides price and details

I’m looking at building the Seaboard AF-4 DD PS-1. The PP I found recommends using the IM PS-1. Is there any reason why the Kadee PS-1 can’t be used?

KADEE now makes the 1948 version of the PS-1 with the early roof and ends. That's where you may want to start ! Also TANGENT now sells the 1948 PS-1 roof as a detail part because one of TANGENT's PS-1 box car models is a Union Pacific B-50-40 rebuild (into the BC-50-40) that uses the roof. On 8/28/2022 11:45 AM, O Fenton Wells wrote:
