Help identifying depressed center flat car

Thanks for the identification and the suggestions. Clearly the model prioritized fidelity to prototype over running qualities. If I leave the coupler box on I may impose restrictions on tight curves.

You could mount a coupler like the brass steam engine makers did on the pilots. Take a long shank Kadee coupler, cut off the wide pivot hole part, drill a small hole for a pin through the coupler pocket and the coupler shank. If the shank extends far enough into the pocket you may be able to add some centering springs in there.

I think Red Ball made the kit.

No buffers. I just applied Erie lettering from a Champ decal set.

I am looking for a coupler with minimal side swing. If it doesn't center that is acceptable. A Kadee #4 is the only one I know that can fit through the coupler pocket. Not sure if McHenry makes anything better.

I would appreciate help identifying this car. The side and end frames are white metal and the decks are basswood.

If anyone has found a suitable coupler installation that would also be very useful. I would like to save the coupler pockets.

Thanks
