Whiskey. Green (not Great) Valley Rye (Whiskey) was a product of Casey Bros. Pennsylvania (or Pennsyltucky, as some like to call it), used to famous for its Rye whiskey.

Yes I was referring to the alcohol version of rye. There are several good versions available today as it has made a come back in the market

At the time the photo was taken, my dad was 10-years old. At 12, he started working in the D&H coal mines in the area.
