Sunshine Models NOT&M SS boxcar
Howe Truss New Orleans, Texas & Mexico single sheathed boxcar from Sunshine Models. I came across a photo of a MP SS boxcar in the color guide that had an unpainted galvanized roof with the seam caps painted in the carbody color. Photo taken in front of one of three feed mills I scratch built from field measurements and photos.

A fine build. And I really like your track scenery too! (Sidings with weeds, I love that.) :-) On 9/20/2022 11:10 AM, Charlie Duckworth via groups.io wrote:

Charlie, you continue to do a fantastic job on your models. I am going to use these images to show our museum members what a huge difference good weathering and proper paint does to enhance the history we want to create. Jerry Michels |

For the group; Jerry and I have been friends and fellow Mopac modelers going on 35 years so you’ll have to take his comments with a little MP bias. 😛

Ha, you got it Charlie, lots of MoPac bias. However, just to note, our museum is recreating the Santa Fe Railway across the Texas Panhandle. Whether MoPac or Santa Fe, your results, in my opinion, are good across the board. Jerry |
