Photo: HLSX 1 Triple-Deck Livestock Car

Here is a photo of HLSX 2, a doubledeck stockcar converted from a Humane poultry car. To my knowledge the Humane Live Stock company only had the two cars.

Photo: HLSX 1 Triple-Deck Livestock Car

Photo appears to be a builder’s photo from 1928.

Designed by North American Car Company and built by the Standard Steel Car Company.

This car had facilities for feeding and watering. Note the caretaker’s room on the near end.
