CNJ Lady Liberty Emblem

Can anyone tell me when the CNJ started adding the Lady Liberty Emblem to its freight cars? Thanks in advance.

I can tell you it was before 1945. But the LARGE emblem appeared in 1957.

I will second Tim’s approximate date. Naturally the best is to have photos to work from as cars were shopped, and paint/brakes upgraded. Is there a particular car in question? I have a few decent images post war wearing Lady Liberty.
