CB&Q flats (was Question about 40 ft. gondolas)

The CB&Q cars' decks were 1'6" longer than the NP cars 52'0" decks, but it's close enough. :-) The CB&Q series 92000-92399 were identical, were they not ? The ORER lists them all together as 92000-92799 - a huge class of flat cars! On 11/13/2022 8:00 PM, William Hirt wrote:

Group, The Burlington had near identical 52' flats like the NP & SP&S. They were classified as FM-12. There are minor differences notably where the deck lines up with the stake pockets. The FM-14 is a different animal. Chad Boas makes the FM-14 and Jerry Hamsmith makes the decals. Rich Christie |

Tim, Yes they were. The earlier ones were built in 1942 at CB&Q
