This is one of 550 cars in the Ga-11 class. Original series was 173500 to 174049. Some were renumbered when assigned to M-O-W service.

The Ga-11 cars were built in 1926 by AC&F and had Caswell drop bottoms.

There were still 543 cars on the live list in 1953 but only 245 in 1956. Three years later just 48 remained.
