The model Railroading hobby has lost another good friend after an extended illness. This news came to me Saturday from the WAG Yahoo Group. Steve produced the first of the WAG F7 models prior to selling Stewart Hobbies to Bowser. A number of hopper cars he made served our needs as well.
I have no further news about arrangements. May he rest in peace.
Met Steve and his first wife at Trainfest many, many moons ago. I have some
good stories ; )) Steve would send his wife over to our layout with
a note pad and ask us how we modified or painted his engines and what we’d like
to see? I did receive a phone call from him well after he sold and he told me
about his new life. Great Guy!!
