Looking for 7 panel superior doors for CNW 10' 6" War Emergency boxcar Sunshine kit

I am building Sunshine kit #29.12, however, this kit comes with Youngstown doors. I wish to build the car with 7 Panel Superior doors to represent a different series of the boxcar. The Youngstown doors in the kit measure 10' 3" height, 6' 3" width. I have looked for 7 panel superior doors on line, however, most ads do not give the door dimensions. Does anyone know if any of the commercial offerings, Kadee, Accurail, IM, DA, etc. have a door that I could use? The other option is if someone had the Sunshine kit #29.13, this is the CNW boxcar with the Superior doors. If you were interested in building the car with Youngstown doors, we could trade.

I just measured a bunch of doors -- many are 6-3 width, but none are 10-3 in height! My Southwest Scale "10 foot" doors are all 10-0 in height and 6-3 in width. Also, 7 panel Superior doors came with different panel spacings -- Southwest makes two. I think there may be more prototype variants. Why not build your own doors? They can be built usinf evergreen strips and door hardware from old doors in the scrap box. See photo attached of a Superior door for an EJ&E Boxcar.

Allan, not to criticize your work in any way, but there are subtle details missing from the styrene strip model - not to mention door locking hardware. The car is not finished. I am in a holding mode because of my wifes illness. I am just getting back into modeling and one of the first cars to finish is the one in the photo.I have to add running boards door hardware and other minor details. I will post photos when painted.

Thanks Allan and Tim for the responses. Part of the reason that this group is so great for me is that the discussion brings up issues that were not even thought about by me when I posted the question. I went back and looked at prototype photos of the CNW Superior door boxcar and it appears that the door has a slightly wider panel at the very bottom which I had not thought about before I posed the question. I suppose that I could scratch build an acceptable door. I was hoping for a commercial Superior door to fit the bill, but the chances of one with a wider bottom panel is slim, although bashing a wider bottom panel is also a possibility.
I think maybe the best outcome for me would be to swap with someone who has the similar kit but wants the Youngstown door which comes with my kit.

I went into the train room and measured all the Superior doors in my spare parts. They include Kadee, IM, Proto 2000, CB&T, Branchline and Southwest scale, none of them measure at 10'3" tall. Thats why I mentioned scratch building.

The undecorated Intermountain kit has these doors in it, but I can't say whether they will fit the Sunshine kit.
I'm sure I have a set of those doors. I can access them next week and get them to you. Let me know.

Do you have a photo showing how you did the roof? I'm building a similar car using the IM kit, and the roofs on these cars were painted with galvanized paint, so I would think they would weather differently than a car built with galvanized steel panels, then painted.

Hi Scott,
I have attached a couple of photos of the roof. I did not do anything different with the roof than I do with most boxcars. I am a PRR guy so I don’t know a whole bunch about the CNW and the Sunshine information indicated that the cars were red/brown color for the entire car. I weather all of my models using washes of artists acrylic paints. For this CNW car, since it was built only 10 years before the years that I model, early 1950s, I tried to fade the FCC on the roof while adding a bit more black to represent dirt and soot. You can see that the roof looks a little different than the sides and ends.
