Accurail MKT 36’ boxcar here’s and article with brown washes
I’d read this article on building and weathering a white reefer and ordered a bottle of Vallejo Brown wash to see how I could weather my own light colored cars. While Jim doesn’t go into detail I watched a few YouTube videos on how to apply washes. Plus there’s others on how to make your own using acrylic paint, water and alcohol which obviously is much cheaper. I’ve always used oils for pin washes but this adds another method. https://myp48.wordpress.com/2020/03/06/modeling-a-beauty-from-jim-zwernemann/ https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=1i61SlfOD34 Charlie Duckworth Omaha, Ne.
