C&O boxcar 4235
Richard Scott
Charlie Duckworth's recent photos of his C&O boxcar 5461 motivated me to upgrade a similar O-scale car that I built from an Intermountain kit in 1994. The car now has new roof walks, uncoupling levers, brake hoses, and sill steps. When first I built it the car's only weathering was a little Dullcote. This time I weathered it more heavily with Tamiya acrylics, AIM powders, and Pro Art colored pencils. I have an album featuring some of my freight car models on the first page of our photo section. These cars are all O scale and include everything from scratchbuilds to modified RTR cars. I hope you will enjoy looking through them. Happy Thanksgiving, Dick Scott |
