CNJ 12000 series

Does anyone have a photo of a CNJ 12ooo series single sheathed box car? I have an Accurail model decorated for CNJ as 12136. Would like to see if it's worth saving the lettering?

CNJ had USRA single sheathed box cars, which is not the CN clone from Accurail, or the IC car either as far as I know.
Which Accurail single sheathed box car have you got ?

CNJ also rostered a series of cars similar to the single sheathed USRA design but the ends were different.

Clark,
The Keith Retterer list of SSC builder photos denotes 11500 (built 8/22/06) and 12500 (built 2/18/07) both as “wood, double sheathed” box cars. Each order was for 1,000 cars in series 11500-12499 & 12500-13499, respectively. The overall length over strikers is 37’-1”. A look at CNJ in the ORER doesn’t show anything that would be a SS box car with the 12136 car number from the 1920s thru the 1950s.

Thanks to those that answered. Now what to do?

Tim asked "Which Accurail single sheathed box car have you got ?"

I have two actually. Got them at a swap meet for 5 buys each. One's the CNJ, 8 panel sides, Murphy ends steel corrugated door. The other 6 panel car I've stripped thinking I could use it for a Milwaukee car, but the Dreadnaught ends are the wrong configuration.
These are fun cars to modify and I'd like to do something with these that's half way prototypical....

If the car has a wood door and wood ends 8 panel sides just renumber it in the 17000-17999 series, if has a wood door and steel ends 8 panel sides renumber it into the 18000-18098 series. 3 of the 17000cars and 60 of the 18000 cars were still on the roster in 1958.

Unfortunately, it has both steel doors and ends...Clark

CNJ 12136 would be a 36 ft car. Only left on the roster in 1950.

My apologies for the less than stellar photo, but this is CNJ 12335, a 36’ DS car, with wood door.

For additional detail, attached is an entry from a CNJ 1940 freight car diagram book. This covers some of the 36-foot box cars in the CNJ 11500-13499 series. Many cars were also rebuilt with Hutchins metal ends. The specific car numbers for Murphy or Hutchins ends are not among the details in this diagram book.
