I received my car a few days ago. I’m in Ottawa and ordered from Credit Valley.

I just got an email that the ones I paid for two weeks ago have shipped via FedEx and should be here on Saturday, so progress is being made.

The two cars I ordered arrived today. The end lettering is not crooked on mine, however the handrail on the end of one of the cars was tilted down on one side due to the last bracket on that side being bent upwards. The result is that the lettering looked crooked, when in fact it was the handrail that was crooked. Gently straightening the bracket fixed the problem. Of greater concern to me is that the brake hoses limit the coupler swing to that side of the car. Again, gentle bending of the hose should solve that problem.

Mark, I had the same problem with mine. The handrail wasn't straight making the lettering look slanted. I've had to bend the brake hose so the couplers will swing on almost all of my Rapido RTR cars. Jeff White Alma IL On 2/13/2023 2:16 PM, Mark Rossiter

One of the biggest improvements to Rapido RTR is replacing the brake hose with hi-tech details rubber ones. Flat example. Top photo is stock. Bottom is moloco semi scale wheels and rubber hoses.

James, I received notice of the shipping today, so should be getting them soon. I'm planning to do a blog update when they arrive. Jason Hill http://nightowlmodeler.blogspot.com/2022/10/utlx-tank-cars-part-1-new-modelson.html |
