The Lines West cars (excellent 3-D printed models with decals) are rather modern for you Clark.
There are several variants he did of the 100 ton cars. Very reasonably priced, too.

Got a call from Carol at Caboose Stop Hobbies in Cedar Falls Iowa. She has several "Line West" Milwaukee 2 bay hoppers. I don't know anything about them to offer a sales price. Would like this groups opinion.

I purchased a variety of his cars and have been less than impressed with the quality of the finished products.
The cad work was excellent, but the resin parts have been problematic.
The MILW caboose required significant work to brace the body as the resin used was too soft.
I had to fabricate a replacement floor/underframe as the one supplied was too badly warped to use.
I’ve had to epoxy brass tubing inside the top and bottom of the sides and inside the roof to address warping.
I also purchase five MKT TOFC Conversions (beyond the era of his list) and all have developed fine cracks all over the bodies.
I assume these cracks are from continued shrinkage as they were not there when the kits arrived.
I didn’t buy and of the hoppers so they MAY be OK.
Cheers
Dave

I was confused (what’s new) I was thinking that was the name of the old line Richard Hendrickson was involved with? Didn’t think the hoppers fit that line. I’ve met the maker at shows and seen the cabooses, very nice!

Gary, Westrail was founded by Richard iirc.
I am only aware of their AAR(?) 50 ton flatcar kits and PFE ends that Tony Thompson has shown several times in his blog.
I don't know if they made any other parts or kits.

All his rubber molds for parts went to Greg Martin, and with Greg’s passing, I don’t know where they might be now.
