One off of the bucket list
Steve SANDIFER
We talked about the former Mather cars conversion to 50' cars. This has been on my bucket list for a long time since I was thinking they were done in 1952. Now I know they weren't, but that did not stop them from being a bucket project, so this one is now finished and will spend most of its time in a drawer with other stock cars. Now I get to move on to some Westerfield and Sunshine kits.

No. That was two Proto kits plus a good bit of Evergreen.

Years ago I was approached by Stan during the time he had the hybrid Mathers 50' stock car kits. Each project required 2 P2K Mather kits for the 50' kitbash. As I had received dozens of these kits at great close-out prices I helped Stan as well as I could. I suppose with the somewhat irrational fear of having left over product after 2 weeks arrival from China delivery doesn't bode well for any more cheap close-out HO products again. -Andy Carlson Ojai CA
