I always get excited and appreciate the comments on painting and weatheringon this list. Often I rush out and buy the products recommend A short time ago one of the post recommended Apcad Clear . I bought some and lost the original memo. Can someone tell me why I bought it.?
I think it was related to a discussion on clear coats that didn’t fog or cloud. I think it started as a discussion of acrylic clear coat clouding, which is why I use lacquer clear coats.

Can someone tell me why I bought it.?
Bill I use Alclad Gloss Klear Kote when I want a high gloss finish for decal preparation if I’m not successful in spraying the paint to a gloss. After decaling I airbrush a light coat over the decals to hide the edges. -- Charlie Duckworth Omaha, Ne.
