Interestingly, there are boxcars from Soo Line (the old LaBelle kit) and Wisconsin Central in that cut of cars... still separate railroads at that time.

Intercolonial 19472 is from a series of 84 ICR 35-foot wood boxcars absorbed by the Canadian Government Railways by 1923, and later by the CNR.
Also note worthy is Canada Atlantic boxcar 2217. The Grand Trunk purchased the Canada Atlantic in 1905, three years after this photo. The Grand Trunk was absorbed by the CNR in 1923.
